When you are configuring your Mac Mini, make sure to make a network location with only Ethernet locations. The attached images are an example of how your IP configuration will look.
The first image:
-IP address will be different (will be provided to you)
-Subnet Mask will stay the same as in the image, ’255.255.255.0′
-Router will be the IP address but the last digit will be ‘.1′ always
-DNS Servers are up to you. You can target any public DNS you like, but we recommend ’220.127.116.11′ for all connections.
The second image:
Shows after you click “Advanced…” button. This is where you can change and input your DNS.
